Thinking about what to post.

I hope this is a small post1, this is a microblog, but the posts are rather long. Well, longer than I had expected. I just go on and on and on... The frequency is also off, I post way too often! There's no way I can keep up that pace, so I'm sure the posting is going to slow down. Specially now that I stopped using Twitter. Yeah, I didn't delete my account, but it's inactive. Close enough.

I was thinking... as I do, from time to time, about my blog. My last post, A Short Post About Communication, has a notice that says that I don't like it. Why is that? And why haven't I changed it? Well, it has something to do with the way in which I get the ideas for a post. The process is described in my second post, Occult In-search on Subterfuge Art as Marketable Fluid for Connective Systems.

The way I write these posts is by making notes as soon as I have an interesting idea, or an idea that at the moment I think is interesting.

I collect all of those ideas and write the blog entry, in the same way, that post has the reason why I don't like my last one.

Things pertaining to outsideness are that of the occult, outsideness is the method of communication through subterfuge; much like a code is a way to communicate secretly, it hides the message — in this case the hidden thing is the system of connections and those decoding it become part of it. To me a great deal of this outsideness comes from an inability to follow patterns. If a rule is something that shapes patterns, then to obfuscate the formation of patterns, to break the inner logic of the operating machine, is a method for subterfuge. When someone interacts with something it follows this line or pattern, and I think if one aims for outsideness, the line must be hard to follow.

The problem with "A Short Post About Communication" is that it lacks this obfuscation. A post in my main blog is not comprised of a singular idea, it is a collection of ideas that are held together with glue and tape. They are not direct, and they go over many things, sometimes even contradicting previous segments or posts.

So, if I don't like it, why haven't I rewritten it yet? It's because the amount of ideas that I have is not enough to allow me to do so. I have some ideas, like, I wanted to write about VTubers, but that's not enough by itself — and I'm having a little trouble connecting the ideas that I do have2. So for now, I'm just going to have to wait and see what my mind comes up with.

  1. It ended up being quite long... wasn't it?

  2. Actually, I came up with some more ideas while writing this, it's a work in progress!
